Year 2009: Pre-Mother's Day Celebration

Yeah, so today we are having a pre-Mother's Day Celebration for 4 Mothers!

Uncle Michael just got himself a new Toyota Wish car and my mum is posing happily with the new car.

So we decided not to drive because all of us wanted to take his new car, look at my mum happily sitting in the last row. 

As there are 3 rows in the car, I noticed something that is quite interesting.  First row passenger and driver chat among themselves.  Second row, the cuzzies chat among ourselves.  And the last row, my mum and aunt gossip among themselves.  So in the same car, there are 3 different conversations going on at the same time, haha...

Then we came at this Defu Lane's Seafood Paradise.  It has been ages since I last came.  I came once before when it was first opened in 2002 / 2003.  At that time, it is just a stuffy canteen kopitiam, but now it has been renovated into restaurant style.

Something happened while we are ordering.  We were told that only 2 crabs are allowed to be ordered per table due to the low supply.  This is ridiculous as there are 13 of us, where got enough to share?!  Thus, my cousin starts to make a "fuss" about it.  After few mins of "debating", we managed to fight back and we are allowed to order 4 crabs.  I was totally astonished by her eloquence and she also won praises (Well done!  Good job!!) and thumbs up from my uncles.  Of course my cousin is not rude and she even thanked them very much for the arrangement.

While waiting for the food to be served, my aunts and cousins continued their gossip conversation.  To hear better, 4 cousins even share on 2 chairs, haha...

Here comes the first dish:  Live Drunken Prawns with Chinese Herbs in Claypot (Rating: ★★★★)

Second dish:  Brocolli with Scallops and Egg White (Rating: ★★★)

Third dish: Deep-Fried Homemade Beancurd with Dark Gravy Seafood served in a Mini Wok over a warmer (Rating: ★★★☆)

Forth dish:  Sea Cucumber with Braised Duck (Rating: ★★★)

Fifth dish: Steam Three Assorted Eggs with Prawns (Rating: ★★★★)

Sixth dish:  Three Assorted Eggs Veggie (Rating: ★★★☆)

Seventh dish:  Crispy Chicken with Garlic Flakes (Rating: ★★)

Eighth dish:  Honey Pepper Pork Ribs (Rating: ★★★★)

Nineth dish:  Chilli Crab with Man Tou (Rating: ★★★☆)

Tenth dish:  Signature Creamy Butter Crab (Rating: ★★★★★!!!)

After dinner, we went back home for our very own desserts.  Durians!!

And here comes another round of gossiping, haha...

Suddenly, my mum 灵机一动, said want all the mothers to take lucky number for 4D.

Disclaimer:  Although I am a pig lover, but i swear the pig head is not drawn by me.  Frenz know me should know how I draw my pig ear.  It just happen that both my aunts love pigs.  One of them has a lot pigs in her house.

And the other one loves to draw pig head on all cousins' hands when we were very young.  I think being a pig lover runs in our family genes, haha... :p

Ohter than pig lover, we also realised that all the adults do not look like their age.  They look at least 5 years younger than their actual age, hope I can inherit this good gene too....!
